We are closing this maintenance notification. The following was successfully completed:
* AU Data Center: Upgrade of the PingID database cluster software and addition of new nodes for capacity and redundancy.
* NA Data Center: Addition of new nodes for capacity and redundancy. Consistency checks are still ongoing and the nodes are not taking customer traffic.
The following will be rescheduled:
* EU Data Center: Upgrade of the PingID database cluster software and addition of new nodes for capacity and redundancy.
* NA Data Center: Upgrade of the PingID database cluster software and cut over to the new nodes for capacity and redundancy.

The NA database cluster is still undergoing consistency checks as part of the addition of the new nodes during the maintenance window. We expect these checks to continue for the next few hours. As we have not seen increased error rates or issues we do not expect customer impact. Once the consistency checks are completed, this page will be updated. We are closely monitoring system error rates and performance.

Ping Identity's database tier will be undergoing maintenance to remediate issues discovered during the previous PingID service interruption (https://status.pingidentity.com/incidents/stkz9gklfg9w).
During this time, our Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps teams will be upgrading the PingID database cluster software and adding additional nodes for capacity and redundancy. The schedule for each region is below:
* AU Data Center (12/28) - 15:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC
* EU Data Center (12/28) - 21:00 UTC to 03:00 UTC (12/29)
* NA Data Center (12/29) - 04:00 UTC to 10:00 UTC
Systems that will be affected during this time:
* All PingID services
We expect this upgrade to be transparent to customers. Authentication requests may be delayed slightly or need to be retried during this time. These system updates and upgrades are designed to improve overall system reliability.
